Class 03 399 0-6-0 at Mangapps Museum in 2011
This class 03 at Mangapps is painted in BR blue. It was built at Swindon in 1961 by BR with the number D2399. It was withdrawn in July 1987 from Norwich, by B.R. It was getting the stock ready for the first steam train of the day on 2nd May 2011
Mangapps Railway Museum
Mangapps Railway Museum is on a farm at Burnham on Crouch, Essex and is a privately owned museum that is now open to the public. It has a three quarters of a mile standard gauge passenger carrying line.
Mangapps Railway Museum was called the Mangapps Farm Railway Museum
The Museum has about 10 steam and diesel locomotives with about 80 carriages and wagons, The railway has a very large collection of signs and small railway relics. Evey bit of wall space in the sheds has signs and the carriges in the sheds are also full of railway relics.
This signal box is now named "Mangapps junc"
This signal box was at Haddiscoe Junction between Reedham Junction and Lowestoft be for being moved to the Mangapps Railway Museum and re-named Mangapps Junction.
This non-powered Driving Trailer is W 51381 and is of Class 117 DMU and was built by Pressed Steel for British Railways.
