Class 56312 at the Nene Valley Railway Diesel Gala May 2012
Class 56312 and 31601 at Orton Mere .
On a dull and damp day at Orton Mere, Class 56312(56003) had been painted with the Railfest logo for the event that was coming up at the NRM in York from 2nd to the 10th of June 2012.
When this class 56 now numbered 56321, came to the NVR it was in its Load Haul colours with the number 56003. It was renumbered as 56312 and painted in the Artemis livery of purple with a large green ARTEMIS name. In 2008 it left the NVR and returned to the mainline. It is now operated by British American Railway Services which was formerly Hanson Traction.

D1916 (Class47)
Class 47 or Brush Type 4 in two tone green with the number D1916 behind Class 56312 at Orton Mere station during the May Diesel Gala at the NVR.
This class 47 is I think 47812 which was acquired in 2005 by Riviera Trains and painted in the two tone green that the 47s (Brush Type 4 then) were painted in when new, but it would have only had small yellow warning panels. This was to mark its then 40 year of service on BR.
