THE NIGEL DOBBING MEMORIAL TRAIN with SR Rebuilt Merchant Navy Class 4-6-2 no 35018 British India Line was from Watlington to Nottigham and then to Melton Mowbray and back to Kings Lynn by way of Peterbrough and Ely on Sunday 17 March 2019 

Nigel Dobbing was the ex-Managing Director of the Railway Touring Company, He had passed away in October 2018.

While the train was stopped at Melton Mowbray, a special memorial plaque was placed in the waiting room of the station.
